The Business Intelligence Director II is responsible for leading client service and business planning activities within the Enterprise Insights and Analytics (EIA) department.
Responsibilities include the development and execution of client service strategy and business processes to include departmental communications, vendor selection/renewal, tool deployment, quality control and other projects related to business planning and BI support.
The BI Director II champions a client service mindset with strong focus on change management to help drive increased usage of BI tools/system across the enterprise.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist the VP BI System Client Services in the development of the client service, customer support and change management strategies related to BI tool/systemsDevelop communications strategy to drive awareness and knowledge of EIA's solutions and provide business updates to the organizationDevelop client service processes and standards related to specific BI systems/tools including usage, support, governance, communications, administration, enhancements, etc.
Lead joint business planning processes to ensure client business priorities are actively supportedCreate standard ways of working with business/functional leaders, key stakeholders, and end users to facilitate ongoing collaboration and better supportDevelop and lead change management efforts to achieve broad and consistent tool adoption and use.
Understand current behaviors, communicate vision and benefits, secure support, oversee implementation, remove obstacles and help generate wins to reinforce desired behaviorsDesign tracking request processes to include response protocols/management, service-level agreements, and performance assessmentDevelop/lead needs assessment processes to identify insight/reporting needs, training needs, support gaps, tool enhancements, etc.
Lead the development of departmental communication plans for sharing product news/updates, KPIs, best practices, thought leadership, etc.
Lead measurement, monitoring, and reporting of client satisfaction and service levelsAdvise and coach BI tool owners in their customer support activities (e.
