The Judge Group is seeking a Health and Safety Manager with a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree for a large company in Union City, CA. We are willing to look at candidates with a Production Manager background or some Safety experience in the food industry.

The perfect candidate will have:
A Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree
Experience within the food industry
Production, operations of Safety experience within the food industry
Willing to look at somewhat junior candidates 2
years' experience


Responsibilities:
Educate plant on safety
Establish safety as a condition of employment
Visibly demonstrate that safety has a priority over production
Establish effective site safety training program and policies.
Establish audit process for safety action follow-up
Establish and maintain an effective Plant Safety Committee
Programs and Policies meet Governmental Regulations and Organizational Goals
Organization is provided with the tools and instruments to ensure all training requirements are met.
Audit findings report accurately the progress of the facility.
Performance Indexing Results
Inspections are performed as required, results disseminated and corrective action taken and followed up
on.
Responsible for assisting in compliance with all HACCP requirements for plant as well as ensuring
product quality, safety and legality. Informs QC Manager of recognized issues.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
