1 Union City, CA Union City, CA Full-time Full-time $25 - $37 an hour $25 - $37 an hour Kettle Cuisine in Union City is looking for an Inventory Specialist to manage all aspects of our inventory process through interacting with all associated departments.
We are a food manufacturing company that specializes in concentrated broths and demi-glace.
This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include:
Inventory Oversee the cycle count process Responsible for lot tracking and traceability of raw and finished products Investigating and resolving inventory issues, discrepancies and bin movements Ensures FIFO inventory protocols are followed Input finished materials into E21 Overall, responsible for integrity of inv cycle count process (quantity) and valuation (costs, exposure, COGS).
Assist in Product recalls Create pick lists for daily production runs Close out orders and batches upon completion Bill of Materials - set up BOMS for new products and maintain existing ones.
Customer Service Assess service statistics and prepare detailed reports on your findings.
Additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
High school diploma Inventory Control Experience Strong interpersonal & communication skills (oral and written) and ability to interact and communicate effectively with employees at all levels Sophisticated Excel userand good aptitude for system reports Familiar with MRP systems.
Experience with E21 a plus.
Having worked in a manufacturing environment within the food industry is not required but a plus.

Physical Demands/Efforts Work requires occasional physical exertion including some lifting of objects weighing up to 40 pounds Willing and able to sit for long periods of time Willing and able to stand occasionally Willing and able to walk to other areas of the plant occasionally Willing and able to type on computer for extended amount of time Mental & Visual Demands Work performed by this position requires a significant level of mental concentration to manage multiple complex tasks.
Work requires continuous visual effort for extended periods of time.
Work Environment and Hazards Employee works in a manufacturing setting with frequent exposure to heat/cold, dust, or other factors that may require protective equipment and still pose a hazard.
This position has regular exposure to hazards that could result in significate injury and lengthy loss of time at work.
