Sanitation Technician The Sanitation Associate is responsible for controlling all environmental and in-depth equipment cleaning to ensure the safety and quality of our food products.
RESPONSIBILITIES Observe all safety rules and regulations Maintains all cleaning log books up to date and inspection-ready Notifies Lead/supervisor of any hazards Follows all established Good Manufacturing Practices and SSOPs, including maintaining an orderly and clean work area Follows all safety procedures on chemical safety to the highest degree Follows all safety procedures on chemical handling to the highest degree Needs to learn all chemical properties and their proper use To be able to flush tanks, clean tanks, and equipment with detergents at the correct ounce per gallon concentration, water temperature and contact time To be able to sanitize all equipment and parts at the correct recommended PPM with sanitizer To use all safety equipment while working with chemicals, gloves, aprons, safety glasses, etc.

Must be able to read and understand scheduling tools (production board, physical schedule, and production reports).
Must be able to listen and follow directions from superiors.
Must be able to communicate with fellow workers to fulfill personnel requirements when/as needed.
Must be able to identify product acceptance according to Quality criteria.
Must be able to perform some problem-solving techniques.
Must be able to instill sense of urgency to others when / as needed adhering to job requirements.
Safety, SSOPs, GMPs, use of PPE, company policies and procedures, MSDS, LOTO, production goals, Confined Space Entry policies and procedure PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to regularly lift and move 25 lbs.
Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and controls Frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus Able to work in a hot / cold or wet environment Job Type:
