Responsibilities:
Promptly answering incoming calls to the restaurant.
No one likes a ringing phone! Managing the flow of guests and letting your leadership shine when communicating with hosts, expeditor, managers, well, basically everyone.
Ensuring all orders are quickly transferred to curbside guests and our 3rd party delivery partners with 100% accuracy.
Able to be enthusiastic when taking orders, keeping up the high standards, and generally creating a lot of happy guests.
Understand the importance of accuracy, safety, and truly making the guest feel satisfied.
Accurately ring in all orders into the POS system.
Ensure all carry out orders are packaged perfectly, special instructions verified following Company Brand Standards.
ID all guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 years old or younger (where allowed).
Follow all relevant brand standards to deliver the Fridays Experience.
Able to carry a natural conversation with Guests without sounding scripted or intrusive.
Able to articulate clear order taking, as well as being able to understand guests request to modify food items.
Able to clearly communicate guests needs to the entire team.
The host, expeditor, 3rd party partners, and managers.
Operate POS system, make change correctly and make credit card transactions accurately.
Ability to stay calm when responding to dissatisfied guests and notify a manager when you need backup.
Able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests.
Simple, but very important to making guests feel welcome.
